Dale Wood entered the Supercars Championship in 2007, racing in the Development Series with Greg Murphy Racing.
He impresses during his debut season, ultimately earning the Mike Kable Young Gun Award as the best first year driver in the category.
He then got his first taste of the main series, co-driving the longer distance races in 2008, before earning a full-time drive with Kelly Racing in 2009.
The following year he moved to the co-driver seat at Wilson Security Racing teaming with Tony D’Alberto, where the pair finished ninth at the year’s Bathurst 1000.
Wood re-entered the Dunlop Series in 2012, coming home sixth in the Championship. He scored himself the Dunlop Series Drivers’ Championship the next year, while still taking on co-driver duties.
Wood again stepped up to the Supercars Championship for 2014, and with some promising results under his belt, looks forward to pairing with fellow joker David Reynolds in 2017.
