EREBUS MOTORSPORT LAUNCHES 2025 SEASON WITH BACKING FROM TYREPOWER AND CHIKO

Erebus Motorsport has launched its 2025 Supercars Championship campaign with the continued support of two major partners. Tyrepower returns as a season-long partner on the #9 Camaro of Jack Le Brocq, while CHIKO will back the #99 Camaro of rookie Cooper Murray.

Tyrepower’s refreshed branding was unveiled on a bold new livery, and Jack Le Brocq, who returns for his second season with Erebus, is eager to hit the track.

“The new Tyrepower livery looks awesome—bold, modern, and fast. It’s fantastic to have their continued support and have them on board for the full season, and I can’t wait to get back out there and see what we can do,” Jack said.

Erebus Motorsport CEO Barry Ryan shared his enthusiasm for the renewed partnership:

“Tyrepower was a fantastic partner to our team in 2024, and we’re excited to continue the journey together in 2025. Their commitment to the team has been unwavering, and this fresh new livery is a great reflection of the trust they have in us to push the partnership even further this year.”

Tyrepower General Manager Rob Smith added his thoughts:

“The partnership with Erebus Motorsport has been a fantastic journey, and we’re thrilled to continue our support in 2025. Working alongside Barry and the team has been a great experience, and Jack’s leadership both on and off the track has really strengthened that so we’re all looking forward to what’s to come this season.”

On the #99 side of the garage, the iconic CHIKO brand returns with a brand-new livery following its fairytale return to motorsport with Erebus last year.

The look is a take on a livery originally designed as an alternative option for the 2024 Bathurst-winning car, with Cooper himself joining forces with Erebus Commercial Manager Carly Hammersley to tweak the design for 2025.

“I had a great time working on the CHIKO livery with Carly. Fans fell in love with last year’s car, so we wanted to retain that feel but add a fresh, fun twist for 2025. It’s bold, it’s eye-catching, and I can’t wait to race it under the lights at SMP!” said Cooper.

“We wanted the 2025 CHIKO livery to have a fresh, energetic feel—something that matches Cooper’s personality and the way he races. It’s playful, eye-catching, and brings a youthful edge to the grid, which makes it the perfect fit for him,” Carly added.

CHIKO will again return as the primary partner for the 2025 Bathurst 1000, continuing its presence at the most iconic race on the calendar. A dedicated range of Erebus x CHIKO merchandise will be released at the request of fans soon, joining the range of Tyrepower gear to be released this coming Monday.

Barry Ryan said the revolving sponsorship model the team had developed for the #99 car also offered opportunities for those wanting to be involved as the season progresses.

“We understand that many brands want the impact of a primary partnership but may not have the budget to make it happen in the current climate. That’s why we’ve developed a flexible model for that car that allows brands to enjoy all the benefits of a primary partnership—at a significantly reduced spend—while still securing a spot on the car throughout the entire season.

“It’s a unique opportunity that offers fantastic exposure, and we’re confident Cooper’s going to make a big impact this season,” he said.

The team today also confirmed its co-driver pairings with Jarrod Hughes and Jobe Stewart set to join Jack Le Brocq and Cooper Murray respectively for The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000 later in the year.
