Erebus Motorsport has taken today in their strides as they continue to strive to improve in all areas.
David showed promise early in both qualifying sessions in his Penrite Hungry Jacks Racing Holden, Commodore; however a series of events out of his control held him back. Reynolds the consummate professional knows that things will continually get better as the team and himself gets more laps under their belts – “We just need to keep our wits about us and focus on getting the car better every time we go out”.
In his first outing, rookie racer Aaren Russel tried to remain calm and composed. The Plus Fitness Go Karts Go driver’s primary goal was to learn the track and the car and provide quantifiable feedback – “It was good, I was very nervous. The competitiveness is fierce. I will just keep positive. If I can improve every time I get in the car I feel we are winning”.
General Manager Barry Ryan understands the realities of racing – “We need to be better each time we go out, if we are doing that we are progressing forward”.
