Atomic Batteries are throwing their support behind Image Racing’s Jordan Boys and Jaylyn Robotham as they pair up for the David Lowe Memorial Excel Enduro Cup this weekend at Winton Motor Raceway.
Featuring on Will Brown’s popular Pedders Suspension and Brakes livery back in July, Atomic Batteries have reignited their relationship with Erebus to support the Erebus Academy juniors.
Powered by over 30 years as Australia’s leading battery experts, Atomic Batteries are the battery of choice for reliability, durability and high-performance.
“At Club Assist we aim to partner with similarly focused high quality, customer centric businesses to drive our Atomic Battery brand to pole position within the market,” Executive General Manager of Sales & Operations Adrian Smith said.
“As such, partnering with Erebus Motorsport and emerging talent like Jordan and Jay has great alignment with our goals and we wish them the best of luck this weekend!”
Sitting 8th and 11th in the Super2 Championship respectively, Boys and Robotham are looking forward to getting some seat time before the category resumes at Sydney Motorsport Park next weekend.
“I’m excited to be jumping back into a race car and actually racing it,” Robotham said.
“It’s been a while since I’ve raced an Excel so it should be good fun, plus it’s a good opportunity to get some seat time before next weekend’s Sydney round.
“I don’t have too many expectations going into this weekend but it’d be nice to be up the pointy end, have a good race and bring it home straight.”
49 driver pairings will line up for the annual event with practice commencing tomorrow, followed by two 90-minute races on Saturday and Sunday.
Boys and Robotham will then head to Sydney Motorsport Park for a stand alone test day ahead of the Sydney SuperNight, November 19 – 21.
