Erebus Academy driver Jaylyn Robotham will debut a brand new livery as he hits the track at Sydney Motorsport Park for the Super2 season opener.
The 18-year-old will kick off his second season in the Super2 series with the support of Australian renewable energy business nexess.
Founded on the belief that every Australian home should be able to enjoy Energy Independence, nexess offers a range of battery options and payment plans to help ensure that clean, renewable energy is accessible to all.
“We are delighted to support Jaylyn and the team at Image Racing,” nexess CEO Sebastian Muscolino said.
“As a technology company we see strong alignment with Supercars, Australia’s highest technology sport, and look forward to delivering money can’t buy experiences to our clients and partners.”
The brands purple and aqua colour scheme is utilised throughout the design, with their main signage taking residence across both sides of his #999 Commodore.
After debuting in Super2 last year and having a productive off season, Robotham will hit the track in Sydney with more confidence than ever.
“Last year was a steep learning curve for me. I spent a lot of time in the off season making sure I’m ready to be as competitive as I can be from the get go,” Robotham said.
“To have the support of nexess is a real boost to my campaign and I can’t wait to get back in the car.”
Image Racing owner Terry Wyhoon believes the addition of a new sponsor highlights the progression Robotham is making with his racing.
“To see young drivers like Jaylyn supported by an industry leading Australian business like nexess is a real endorsement of the quality of driver he is becoming,” Wyhoon said.
Robotham’s new look Super2 will hit the track this afternoon for practice one at 1.05PM AEDT.
