Boost Mobile Racing powered by Erebus drivers Brodie Kostecki and Will Brown have started the season in spectacular fashion, securing 5^th and 7^th in the Sydney SuperNight opener.

Starting from 5^th on the grid, Will got off to a flying start and went around the row in front to slot into 3^rd before the first corner.

Brodie, just behind him in P7, was also quick and wasted no time settling into a rhythm for the 77-lap mini-marathon.

Brodie was the first of the pair to pit, opting for a three-stop strategy. Will on the other hand went for two stops.

When the field finally settled for the final stint, Will was speedy and looking primed for a podium position with 20 laps to go.

The #9 Commodore ragged it around the Western-Sydney circuit, using all his tyres in the process.  Will hold on for as long as he could though unfortunately fell down the order before the finish line. Brodie got by on the final lap to claim 5^th, just ahead of his teammate.
