A long Saturday for the entire crew with a double Qualifying session first up for Races 5 and 6 from 9am.

Race 5 qualifying saw Jack qualify P5, while Todd couldn’t quite hit the mark and would start from P14.

Fast (or not so fast) forward eight hours later and Jack got off to a good start, managing to get onto the inside of Brown at Turn 3 to make the pass but then slid wide and handed the position back. By lap 2, Waters and Payne were dicing for place into turn 11 when Waters nudged Payne who ran deep due to the contact, moved back across into 12 and sent both him and Waters into the wall.

The incident brought out the safety car until lap 7, but in the preceding chaos, Todd had made his way up to P7 and then pulled off a move to take 6th from Stanaway.

The time limited race eventually saw Feeney cross the line as the winner, with Jack leading Todd home P5 and P6.

The final Supercar race of the weekend will start at 10:25 AEDT Sunday, with Race 6 qualifying also decided earlier today.

Jack will start out of 10 and Todd 19 on the grid.
