A busy Thursday rang in the first day of action for the Melbourne SuperSprint at the Australian Grand Prix.
Two practice sessions straight into a double qualifying saw Todd qualify 10th and Jack out of 13th for the first race of the weekend.
It would become a wild 19 lap opener, with Jack commenting it was one of the wackiest races he’d been a part of in recent memory.
The pair however both raced well, making up track position and Jack avoiding trouble despite being stuck in the middle of a midpack jostle. Todd copped a 5 second penalty after his overtake on Fullwood saw him run out of road down the inside, meaning his 8th as he crossed the line was downgraded to 9th, just ahead of Jack in 10th.
Jack will line up out of P6 for Race 4, Todd out of P11.
