Erebus Motorsport has revealed its bold new livery for the Sandown 500, with PowerPlay taking center stage on the #1 Camaro of Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood. The design echoes the look of the karts at PowerPlay’s Moorabbin venue, with both designed by renowned Australian motorsport designer Peter Hughes.
PowerPlay, the ultimate indoor karting experience, has been partnering with Erebus since Round 7 at Sydney Motorsport Park. With locations in Perth and Melbourne, and plans to expand across Australia, PowerPlay is revolutionising indoor entertainment.
Erebus unveiled the livery at its annual Members Night at PowerPlay’s Moorabbin venue tonight—not only bringing fans closer to the action but giving them the chance to race against stars Brodie Kostecki, Jack Le Brocq, Todd Hazelwood, Jayden Ojeda, and Erebus Academy recruits Jobe Stewart, Jarrod Hughes, Max Geoghegan and Ryan Wyhoon.
QUOTES:
Brodie Kostecki, Driver Car 1:
“The livery is certainly going to stand out at Sandown, it’s one of my favourite tracks on the calendar and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel this weekend.”
Todd Hazelwood, Co-Driver Car 1:
“I’m loving the bold design. It really ties in with the energy of the PowerPlay brand and the karting experience they offer. The car looks fast just sitting there, and I’m sure it’ll turn heads when we hit the track.”
Dean Herridge, PowerPlay Co-Founder and Board Member:
“At PowerPlay, we’re driven by a passion for motorsport and a desire to think outside the box, which is why our partnership with Erebus Motorsport is such a natural fit. Both of our teams are committed to creating unique and unforgettable experiences for fans, whether it’s out on the track or behind the wheel of a kart. It’s all about sharing that excitement and energy that makes motorsport so special.”
