Erebus Motorsport has completed 3 of its 4 races at the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The challenging Melbourne street circuit has proved trying for Reynolds and Russell respectively.

Reynolds who is no stranger to the street circuit says it has been difficult to find the optimum setup with the minimal track time that is made available for the Supercars category at F1–

“The fact is we are racing a new car and have minimal data. Every time we drive we learn something new. I am not going to go out and bend the car in an effort to make up one or two spots this early in the season. We are all focused on learning, developing and improving”.

The team’s rookie driver Aaren Russell is still coming to grips with the faster car, green (softs) tyres and new circuits. This weekend marks Aaren’s first time on the famous street circuit –

“I don’t like making excuses, I need to learn the tracks and come to grips with the new car and tyres quicker, they are just the real facts. Its frustrating but I need to be a realistic. We will continue to build and improve each time I get in the car, I have a great team around me”.

David’s results –
R1 – 17th
R2 – 16th
R3 – 15th

Aaren’s results –
R1 – 23rd
R2 – 23rd
R3 – 21st

The team has one final race today at 12.20pm.
