David Reynolds finished 14th in race 7 and respectively maintains 14th overall in the championship, just 33 points shy of the top 10, as the team continues to push to find better pace.

Reynolds was pleased with today’s result following his disappointing qualifying ahead of race 7.

“I went off in turn four during my fastest qualifying lap which wasn’t ideal. All things considered I am really happy with the 14th we captured today”.

Reynolds was also happy with the team’s efforts to improve the car during the Phillip Island weekend.

“We made some real gains here compared to Tasmania and we have a foundation we can improve on ahead of Perth”.

The team sits 14th in the championship which is a testament to their commitment. General Manager Barry Ryan appreciates everyone’s efforts but knows there is a lot of work ahead for the team to be competing for podium finishes.

“The closing laps of today’s race showed just how great a driver David is, he made some smart and calculated decisions. Overall this weekend was an improvement but we have a lot of work ahead of us. The best thing we can take from the weekend is we have found a base we can build on”.

Aaren Russell driving the 4 car continues to improve. He is in a race of his own to get familiar with the car, the team and the tracks.

“This was another tough weekend. I felt better today as I finally got to race other drivers, I feel I learnt a lot that I can take into Perth”.

The team next competes in Perth from the 6th to the 8th May.
