Erebus Motorsport has introduced a new partnership at the 2017 Supercars Championship season opener today, with Ryco Filters coming on board.

The partnership is a first for Ryco in many years, with their new signage appearing on the mirrors and rear quarter panels of David Reynolds’ #9 Holden Commodore.

Ryco, the leading brand of automotive filtration products across both Australian and New Zealand markets, is the original business under Australian public company, GUD Holdings. GUD also owns other iconic brands such as Davey Pumps and Narva Lighting.

“We see this opportunity as a brilliant and exciting way to increase our brand awareness, and highlight our products as ‘The Professional’s Choice’, offering consumers a quality alternative to genuine”

The new partnership sees an extension of the strong ties between Ryco and Penrite Oil.

Both Australian-owned brands are ever growing and the association with Erebus Motorsport is seen as a great profile for the two.

”We have a close and lasting relationship with Penrite Oil and consider both our brands leaders in their  product segments,” Ryco Chief Executive Officer, Guy Nicholls, said.

“We are the leaders in filtration and they are seen as the leaders in oil, we also share many common customers.

“It is great to have a strong alignment with another market leading brand, but also a fantastic team.”

Having just celebrated their 80th anniversary, Ryco continues to expand its range to protect engines in passenger vehicles, trucks, tractors and motor cycles, cementing their position as a leader into the future.

Erebus’ General Manager of Motorsport Barry Ryan said, “This is a great new partnership for the team.”

“It is always exciting to debut a brand new sponsor to our sport and particularly one with such rich history.

The Erebus Motorsport entry can be seen on the Adelaide Parklands Circuit from 9:20am local time.
