After sitting on the sidelines during this morning’s co-driver practice (where Luke and Will finished 10^thand 21^strespectively), our main men were sent soaring around Queensland Raceway.

David sat atop of the timesheets until the very final moment of the afternoon, while his teammate was unlucky to spend a bit of time in the garage.

DAVID REYNOLDS

Practice 1: 5^th,1:09.5932

Practice 2: 7^th,1:09.4888

“It’s the first time I’ve ever experienced rain at this circuit but it has probably been one of the best days I’ve had here. Even though our positon was 7^th by the end of the day, I was on a better lap until I made a mistake at the last corner. I locked a brake which cost 0.25-seconds and second spot for the day. I’m a bit disappointed that I made the error but fortunately it’s only practice. The team did a great job; we made good changes throughout the day and built some new componentry that’s gone into the car this round which has ticked all the boxes so we’ll try leave it in for the race.”

ANTON DE PASQUALE

“In the first session we tried a couple things but had an issue with the throttle which cost us a couple runs. Unfortunately, we didn’t get many more laps in the second session; we had a little issue which we were able to get fixed for the end of the session but only managed one lap on a used tyre. We weren’t able to try what we wanted to and weren’t able to make the most out of the sessions, but we’ve still got plenty of data to look at over both cars so we’ll see what we can do on a green tyre tomorrow.”
