Golden pairing Anton De Pasquale and Will Brown have been amongst those honoured by the Confederation of Australian Motorsport in the last week.

Anton De Pasquale was presented the Peter Brock Medal last night, at an award’s gala in Melbourne.

The Medal is in honour of the motor sport legend and recognises outstanding driver ability and commitment to the positive endorsement of motorsport.

“It’s a compliment to be recognised as showing similar characteristics to the late Peter Brock,” De Pasquale said.

“To be amongst other names who have also won it, such as Craig Lowndes and Mark Webber, is also an honour.”

De Pasquale was the stand-out rookie last season, qualifying inside the top ten on numerous occasions, including third at Bathurst.

The accolades haven’t stopped there, with Will Brown awarded the Will Power Trophy in Queensland last week, in recognition of his outstanding achievements throughout 2018.

“It’s a privilege and definitely a good achievement to add to the CV,” Brown said

Brown made an impressive main game debut at Sandown last year, setting the tone for a good endurance campaign.

He also racked up third in Saturday’s race at Adelaide and then at Newcastle on his way to securing sixth in the Dunlop Series.

The duo now looks ahead to 2019, with the season opener this week in Adelaide.
