Erebus Motorsport has taken the covers off Will Brown’s first Supercars livery for the 2021 season.
The unveiling confirms a rolling sponsorship program throughout the season, with global organisation WD-40 Company taking pride of place this weekend.
“To start the year off with WD-40 is really exciting,” Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said.
“WD-40 have come on board for the entire season, but this round it takes top billing.
“WD-40 is the brand of choice for the team and the car is sure to make a big impact on track.”
The car’s PPG base is wrapped in a striking blue and yellow Metamark wrap with WD-40 taking centre stage on the bonnet, doors and boot.
With over 2,000 uses, WD-40 has helped customers clean, lubricate, protect, penetrate and displace moisture for almost 70 years.
With decades of science behind their products, their new WD-40 Specialist range is designed to deliver superior performance and help professionals get their jobs done right in the most demanding situations.
“I am very excited to have WD-40 on the car for the opening round at Bathurst,” Brown said.
“They’re such an iconic brand and have been in motorsport for a long time so it’s great to have them feature on my car.
“I’m really looking forward to Bathurst and hopefully we’ll see the Erebus WD-40 car up the front.”
Having been heavily involved in the motorsport world for a number of years, WD-40 Company General Manager Nick Roberts is looking forward to growing their relationship with Erebus.
“We are proud to partner with Erebus this weekend at Bathurst and beyond. We look forward to what will undoubtedly be an awesome weekend of racing,” Roberts said.
“Keep an eye out for the Erebus mechanics using WD-40’s iconic blue and yellow cans, as well as our WD-40 Specialist range to see how great these products are.”
The team also welcomes Ozland Group Solutions, Shaw & Partners, KMC Wheels and Automotive Superstore as new partners.
Brown will hit the track for the first time tomorrow in his new-look Commodore at 12:00pm local time.
