Erebus Motorsport has today revealed the livery Will Brown will carry when racing resumes next week at Sydney Motorsport Park.

WD-40 Company returns as title partner for the highly anticipated event, while the team also announced the continuation of its partnership with the brand through to next year.

The popular blue and yellow livery will race under lights for the upcoming Sydney SuperNight, running the same design that Brown debuted at the Bathurst 500 back in February.

The new deal will also see major signage across the team’s two Holdens at the season finale in Bathurst.

“We’re delighted to not only see WD-40 return as title partner but to also announce their extended partnership with our team,” Erebus Managing Director Shannen Kiely said.

“We have a great relationship with WD-40 Company and it’s been fantastic working alongside them this year, and now into the future.

“They are a globally recognised company with a reliable product and are the perfect fit for our team.

After a three-month racing hiatus, Brown is excited to get back behind the wheel of his WD-40 backed Holden.

“Since Bathurst we’ve started to see some more consistent and positive results so I’m pumped to get WD-40 back on board and hopefully I can put the car up the front,” Brown said.

“I’ve done a little bit of racing under lights but from what I’ve seen Sydney Motorsport Park has done a fantastic job to light up the track, which will be awesome for us drivers and great for the crowds.

“I’m feeling great heading into the next couple of rounds, I’ve been rewatching footage and am just so keen to get back racing and be on the road with the team.”

With over 2,000 uses, WD-40’s multipurpose lubricants have helped customers clean, protect, lubricate, penetrate and displace moisture for nearly 70 years.

Having been heavily involved in the motorsport world for a number of years, WD-40 is looking forward to continuing their relationship with Erebus into 2022.

“We are proud to partner with Erebus for the Sydney Motorsport Park race circuit and for the 2022 race season,” WD-40 Company General Manager Nick Roberts said.

“We look forward to what will undoubtedly be an awesome weekend of racing.

“Keep an eye out for the Erebus mechanics using the iconic blue and yellow WD-40 Multi-use Product cans as well as our WD-40 Specialist range, to witness our products delivering optimum performance across all conditions.”

Racing will return with four consecutive races to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park, beginning with the Sydney SuperNight, October 29-31.
