Erebus Academy’s Reef McCarthy has revealed his Bathurst 1000 livery with Bushwakka Adventure Gear securing prime position as his naming rights sponsor.

With stockists throughout Australia, Bushwakka Adventure Gear supplies all of your camping and outdoor needs including camper trailers, wall kits, awnings, roof top tents and additional camping accessories.

Bushwakka Adventure Gear’s Director Johnny Loots is looking forward to seeing his brand represented at the biggest Supercar event of the year.

“We are very excited to be part of Reef’s growth and his racing career,” Loots said.

“Seeing our brand race around Bathurst is a dream come true and it’s even better when it’s been steered around by an up and coming legend in Reef.”

With Bushwakka being McCarthy’s first major sponsor in his Supercars career, the 18-year-old is looking forward to showcasing the brand and hopes to achieve some great results.

“I’m super fortunate that Bushwakka has come out as my first major sponsor in the sport and is giving me an opportunity to grow in the sport,” McCarthy said.

“I’ve had some great results at Bathurst, but also some unlucky ones so I’m really just hoping for a consistent weekend where I can display my pace and hopefully get some good coverage for my sponsors.

“Continuing into next year, we have some big ambitions and I really hope that we can grow these partnerships and continue moving forward together.”

Rare Spares has also jumped on board, supporting the 18-year-old’s Super2 debut.

The auto parts stores branding will feature on the #999’s windscreen banner, rear wing, front bumper and rear panels.

“I’m excited to announce that Rare Spares have also jumped on board for my debut round, they are such an iconic brand in our sport and I’m proud to be able to represent them,” McCarthy said.

McCarthy would also like to thank Soumah Wines, EC Off-road, 2wo7even Custom Graphics and PACE Images for their ongoing support.

The new livery will be on full display as his Super2 rolls out at Winton Motor Raceway tomorrow for his first and final test with Image Racing prior to the Great Race next week, October 6 – 9.
