The shakedown days for teams to first run their own Gen3 Ford Mustang’s and Chevrolet Camaro’s Supercars have been penciled in following a meeting between Supercars and all teams. 

Following the conclusion of the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship at the VALO Adelaide 500, teams will continue the intense build program of their own Gen 3 race cars. 

The shakedown days have been unanimously agreed and have now been penciled in for 24th January for the Victorian teams at Winton and the 30th January for the Queensland based teams at Queensland raceway. 

Victorian teams will first officially hold a full test day again at Winton on the 7th February, while the Queensland teams will test on the 9th February at the Ipswich circuit. 

The testing program is set to be completed at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 22, where all teams will come together for final preparations ahead of the 2023 Repco Championship. 

The Gen3 Mustang and Camaro prototypes have completed extensive testing throughout 2022 which finished up at the Wellcamp Airport, Toowoomba last week with the straight line VCAT testing. 

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship, where the first ever race between the Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro and Gen3 Ford Mustang will commence with the Newcastle 500 from 10-12 March, 2023. 

All the shakedown and test days will be open to the public.
