Erebus Motorsport has secured their first ever 1-2 finish in Supercars with Will Brown scoring his 2nd race win in the first sprint at Wanneroo Raceway today.

They then backed it up with another double-podium in the afternoon, with Will 2nd and teammate Brodie Kostecki 3rd in the Perth finale.

Race 8

Will took his 2nd career pole position for today’s first race, meanwhile Brodie was only a tenth behind him in P4.

It was a dominant performance by both Erebus drivers as the #9 driver led the field into turn 1. Brodie behind him, immediately moved up a spot, before passing David Reynolds for P2 before the end of the opening lap at the final corner.

Brodie was the first to stop for two left-hand-side tyres on lap 20, meanwhile Will came into the pits on lap 26 for his fresher rubber.

It was a faultless run to the end, with absolutely no one in their way as the Coca-Cola Camaro drivers pulled a gap on the rest of the field.

Will extended his lead to a whopping 6.2563-seconds before the checkered flag, with Brodie still holding a gap to the others in P2.

Race 9

They lined up for a second time in the afternoon. Brodie made his 5th front row start of 2023 from P2 on the grid, meanwhile Will was just behind in P3.

They both got away well and from then on it was fairly straight forward as the lead pack again drove away from the field.

The only switch in positions was of the two teammates, when Will got by Brodie for P2 at turn 7 on lap 3.

Brodie and Will stopped for two new tyres on laps 19 and 23 respectively, before the run home to the flag.

Will took back-to-back podiums for the first time in his career with p2, while Brodie’s 3rd place makes it 8 podiums from 9 races for the #99 this year.

Today’s points haul has also extended the team’s championship lead to 180 points, meanwhile Brodie has also drawn out his lead to 100 points.

Coca Cola Racing by Erebus head to Symmons Plains next, for the Tasmania SuperSprint in three weeks’ time.
