Will Brown has converted his third career pole position into another race win in Race 10 at Symmons Plains Raceway.

Championship leader Brodie Kostecki started from the second row though was wiped out of contention on lap 2.

When the race got underway Will got away well and began to build a lead over his competitors.

Brodie also made an impressive start, swiftly overtaking Cam Waters to secure P3. Eager to keep moving forward, he closed in on Jack Le Brocq and got by at turn 2 on lap 2.

Unfortunately, it was short lived as Waters and Le Brocq got underneath him at the hairpin and escorted him into the barrier on that same lap.

The #99 Coca-Cola Camaro went into the garage for a quick repair, and the crew did a fantastic job to get Brodie back in the race in little time, albeit 5 laps down.

The race was straight forward from then on, Will pitting at the halfway mark for two drivers-side tyres, meanwhile Brodie waited until the last lap to take his compulsory stop.

At the end, Brodie salvaged P23, while Will took the team’s fourth win this season and his second in just as many rounds.

Brodie has still maintained his Championship lead, while Will has closed the gap and moved up to P3.

Tomorrow’s on-track action begins at 9:50am local time with back-to-back qualifying, followed by two more races.
