Erebus Academy driver Jobe Stewart is thrilled to introduce Shamick Transport as his newest sponsor for the remainder of the Super3 season.

Located in Melbourne’s Western suburbs, Shamick Transport has provided over-mass and over-dimensional load transport, general cartage and pilot services solutions since 2009.

Debuting at Sandown, Shamick Transport’s signage will feature along both sides of the #999 Commodore where it will reside for the remaining three Dunlop Series rounds.

Having followed Stewart’s career since his early karting, Shamick Transport Director Shane Wharton is pleased to continue supporting him in a larger way.

“I’ve followed Jobe’s career since his early karting days and I’ve always respected him as a racer,” Wharton said.

“He’s really showcased his driving capabilities since progressing into the Super3 category and I feel that now is the right time to start supporting his career in a financial way.

“We’re happy to be supporting him for the remainder of the year and I am excited to continue watching his progression in the sport.”

Having garnered a strong relationship with the Wharton family, Stewart is thrilled to represent Shamick Transport across the next three rounds.

“It’s great to have Shamick Transport on board for the rest of the year,” Stewart said.

“I’ve known the Wharton family for over 10 years now and I was always racing against Shane’s son James so I grew quite close to them both.

“It’s great that Shane is continuing to show interest in my career after karting. The car looks great and I can’t wait to represent Shamick Transport for the remainder of the season.”

Stewart currently leads the Super3 Championship as he heads into Round 4 of the Dunlop Series at Sandown Raceway, September 15 – 17.
