Coca Cola Racing by Erebus’ Brodie Kostecki has kept his buffer over Shane van Gisbergen, after claiming 5thon the streets of Surfer Paradise today.

Brodie, who started from 10th on the grid, after getting stung by a kerb strike in the Shootout, was quick to make some gains.

His teammate, who started from the rear of grid after missing out on a lap in Qualifying due to a drive-line issue, was also on fire.

Will was quick to make ground and moved inside the top 20 after just six laps.

The first pit stop was for car #9 on lap 22, while Brodie went longer and make his stop 10 laps later on lap 32.

It was a relatively uneventful race, though both Coca-Cola Camaros continued to press on.

Will, who was the mover and shaker of the day and made the most spots out of anyone, made his final stop on lap 53, four laps ahead of his teammate.

The #9 pilot made a total of 14 spots to claim P11 at the end, meanwhile Brodie moved up five spots to P5 by the end.
