Erebus Motorsport has confirmed its enduro line-up for Round 5 of the Supercars Eseries at Bathurst.

Boost Mobile drivers Brodie Kostecki and Jarrad Filsell will pair up in the #99 Commodore, while Erebus Academy junior Jaylyn Robotham will pair up with Jobe Stewart.

It marks the first time in the Eseries that the All Stars have lined up with their Pro Series teammates, and also the first time two Academy drivers have paired up for an event. 

“I think the competition levels are going to be a bit different going into this round, it’ll be interesting to see how it goes,” Stewart said.

“The competition is already high in the Pro Series but there are a lot of good drivers in the All Stars series as well.

“I’ve seen Jay on the sim before and he’s pretty good, I know he’s been practicing a lot at Bathurst so hopefully we can get some good results.”

Robotham joined the Academy at the beginning of this year, making his debut in the Dunlop Super2 Series, where he currently sits 11th in the standings.

Having regularly worked alongside the Erebus engineers, the 18-year old is looking forward to Wednesday nights event with plenty of experience at the virtual track. 

“I’ve been doing a lot of sim training with the engineers to get some good habits into my real life driving, but it’s also been beneficial for my sim racing. It’s great that we can still work together in the virtual world,” he said. 

“I’ve been keeping up with the Eseries and some of the racing is pretty hectic so I’m excited to get amongst it.

“Jobe’s done really well and hopefully at Bathurst we can have a clean race and get a good result.

“My goal for the race is to maintain position and avoid any carnage, I think Jobe will be the one who moves us forward so if I can keep my nose clean I’ll be happy.

“It’s a great opportunity for Jobe and I to race against some of the biggest names in real-world racing and sim racing.”

Stewart currently sits 14th in the Pro Series as they head into Bathurst, while Kostecki and Filsell will be the ones to beat as they sit 1st and 4th in their respective categories.

Qualifying for Round 5 will kick off from 7:00pm AEST Wednesday night and be streamed on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube.

Racing coverage will follow from 7:30pm AEST and broadcast live on Fox Sports, Kayo, 7 Plus and Sky NZ.
