The covers came off the #1 CHIKO Camaro of Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood this morning at this weekend’s Bathurst 1000.

The striking livery marks the return of the iconic Australian brand to Mount Panorama.

For Erebus CEO Barry Ryan, the reveal held special significance, as he had worked on the original Chiko car during the 2000 Bathurst campaign.
“Seeing Chiko back at Bathurst is a great moment,” Ryan said. “It’s a brand that’s been part of our motorsport culture for years, and we’re proud to have it on our car for this race.”

Brodie Kostecki shared his thoughts as the covers came off the Camaro.
“It’s fantastic to have Chiko on the car for Bathurst,” Kostecki said. “This race has so much history, and Todd and I are ready to give it our all.”

Todd Hazelwood reflected on the brand’s connection to the event.
“Bathurst and the Chiko Roll both have deep ties to Australian culture,” Hazelwood said. “It feels fitting to bring the two together again at the Mountain.”

Katie Saunders, Senior Director of Marketing for Chiko, expressed her excitement about the collaboration.
“Partnering with Erebus Motorsport at Bathurst is a great opportunity,” Saunders said. “Chiko has always been part of Aussie culture, and working with a strong team like Erebus makes it all the more exciting for the fans.”

The #1 CHIKO Camaro will take to the track for the first time Thursday for Practice 1 and 2, while Kostecki and Hazelwood will also make appearances at the Chiko activation in Harris Park over the coming days.
